In Latin America, even in the event of rising US tariffs, people do not support strengthing ties with China, nor retaliatory tariffs.

Amazing how many people want the US to get rid of a problem up until the US gets rid of the problem.
Noticing a country missing in terms of polling for the Maduro question

I trust Donald Trump to fuck literally anything up. Polling could be at 100% and I’d still be hesitant to entrust such a key historical moment to this administration.
Gigachad Colombia out here
Unironically think a Venezuelan intervention could be as successful as the gulf war if trump has the courage, you got:
– a good reason to intervene: too many immigrants (from a political perspective)
– Maduro who’s very unpopular
– their army is probably corrupt as hell
– A populace who are desperate for a democracy
This will probably ruin any pivot to Asia but have you considered it would be more fun
Fuck that noise. Let the Colombians or the Brazilians deal with this shit for a change.
