I feel like I’ve heard this one before.
There isn’t anything inherently wrong with running a budget deficit so long as the deficit is reasonable and the debt to GDP isn’t exploding. The deficit seems to fine for Canada and the debt to gdp doesn’t seem to be that bad.
Is this good for Brookfield Corporation stock?
What we need asap, now, is for them to put up a strong defence investment; increase NATO defence by 2% min and buy from France and other countries. We have to secure our country – priority. We should also make joining the military not as cumbersome. There were so many interested but at the end, not enough space to accommodate them so they weren’t recruited. All of this has to change asap. I hope our new leaders place priority for this reality.
