If this comes to pass, it would be a big deal. The Turkish-backed SNA has been continuously clashing with the SDF for months and the negotiations between SDF and HTS/the transitional government have been fraught with tension.
This would essentially bring almost the entirety of Syria under the transitional government. All that’s left for the domestic factions is finalizing negotiations with the FSA at al-Tanf and making sure the SNA gets in line. Beyond that, there’s Israel’s invasion and the remaining Russian presence. The main active combat at this point would just be with the scattered ISIS and Ba’athist irregulars.
