The global center of science research is now the EU and China and it’s never coming back. I see no world in which the US retakes the talent lead here again. What a fucking joke.
All pure science researchers wanted was respect and stability. Industry always paid better, but as long as they had the other two, researchers were happy. The COVID science hate killed the respect in the US. Now the stability is being slaughtered.
