The entire revolution is really is a great example of what NOT to do, from a lack of effective executive function to so many stupid decisions.

And well, the meme is kind of right. After the terror ended the French had an okayish thing going with the ~~consulate~~ Directory period and everything, right up until Napoleon decided he wanted to be king.
It’s less that this meme is correct or incorrect so much as it misses the mark and leaves out far too much to be desired.
