Trump is now talking more sanctions against Russia, in a surprising change of attitude.

  1. It’s not a change in attitude, please consider the order of magnitude in difference between unilaterally cutting all military aid and demanding that Zelensky resign and Ukraine surrenders, and Trump noncommittally posting about some slap-on-the-wrist sanctions.

Trump is blustering because he’s fumbling Ukraine so badly he went underwater on polling in the first two months of office. Republicans literally cannot offer a defense of his actions without him doing some token gesture that he’s not just sucking up to Putin.

We need to be very open to the idea that Trump is utterly and hopelessly stupid. Certainly that’s what you’d conclude through Occam’s Razor.

He probably sincerely was peace at any cost and thought Ukraine was the barrier to peace.

Has he restored intelligence support to Ukraine? Because if he hasn’t, Putin is still much better off than he was a week ago.

That’s because the last guy he talked to told him to. Let’s wait to see if the next guy he talks to tells him something different.

  5. I will only believe it when I see it. So far, he’s done nothing but hand wins to Putin.

  6. God damn, the whiplash is the problem.

Trump is not working with his advisors, and delegating authority. He’s doing a Hitler, trying to run the show himself. It doesn’t end well.

Can’t wait to see the mental gymnastics on arr Conservative to support this.

    “Pressure BOTH sides!”

  8. I question the opening premise. Then I question why it’s the opening premise.

Please all this dude’s “truth” posts are complete lies, it’s like the “WE WILL TAKE OVER GAZA IF ALL THE HOSTAGES AREN’T OUT IN 3 SECONDS” crap from February, he isn’t going to put out the super sanctions when he can’t even start the tariffs war on Canada and Mexico lol

  10. It’s definitely clear that he’d rather Russia just win outright but that he also understands it would be political suicide (despite him not being able to run again he still cares about how he’s perceived). To that end forcing an armistice is his best bet, and someone occasionally gets through to him that Putin has to be willing to armistice too.

    Do. Not. Trust. Him.

I have no idea how many times he needs to dupe people for them to get it.

  12. He changes his opinions based on the last person that talked to him. This will change the moment Elon talks to him about this, I guarantee it.

This has the energy of an email you get from a c-suite exec 1min to business close on a Friday
