American women have lowest life expectancy among high-income countries

    Kind of surprised hispanic women are a full 3 years higher than white women. I assumed life expectancy would follow income. Looking at the [brief](https://www.commonwealthfund.org/publications/issue-briefs/2024/aug/health-care-women-how-us-compares-internationally) hispanic women fall behind white women in pretty much every metric they’re tracking so I’m not sure what could be causing the gap.

  2. Guns alone reduce women’s life expectancy in America relative to other high income countries; throw in vehicular accidents and obesity and the gap only gets bigger.
