Is it surreal to anyone else to watch the most powerful nation on earth and corner stone of liberal democracy die in front of you?

Last time this was used was during the second world war btw, the whole Japanese internment camps (that they called “relocation centers”) back then were largely based around this from E.O 9066.
This law is supposed to come out of effect upon the cease of hostilities between the hostile country, and so applying this to criminal organizations also makes it much more loose to say when it should even stop.
