Yea, because bombing Houthis from the air has always worked out.

Beside the usual boomer facebook rant style, got nothing to object on the content or the underlying action.

Do we have any info on how effective the strikes were?

Didn’t realize it had been that long.
Obviously a good thing, but also l will still rub this in face of the “peace president” crowd who I know hates it. Somehow allowing the Houthis to terrorize global trade is “peaceful.”
also the brits took part in the action

I don’t really have a problem with blowing up the Houthis, but I think it’s funny that tarrif boy is pretending to care about the health of global commerce

Is it just me or does he seem to be itching for some war?? Canada and Greenland seemed to be his first targets.

Likely a waste of time and munitions if Iranian targets and personnel are not included in the target list, the point of the Houthis and other Iranian proxies is that they do the dying while advancing Iranian interests

Acting like he suddenly cares about our allies.

It’s cool to want to stop the Houthi’s but if he thinks we can just bomb them into submission…

Of everything he’s done this is one that I really don’t have many complaints about.

With this and his statement on Central American TNCOs, it looks like terrorist is coming back as a political label. Not that I’d dispute that the Houthi rebels or MS-13 are terrorists, but it’s been awhile since I saw American right-wing rhetoric *emphasize* terrorism as a point and use it (rightfully, in this case) as a political cudgel.

Broken clock, etc.
Ironically though, this is an area where the Europeans should be encouraged to get more involved.
just use nuke, just one nuke, mister president
FSB agents who were shilling about how dovish Trump would be compared to Biden, what’s the spin now?
