  1. >Schumer told Annie Karni and Luke Broadwater: “Here’s my hope … after this election, when the Republican party expels the turd of Donald Trump, it will go back to being the old Republican party.”

    >That insult may cause a splash at the White House in light of Trump’s abuse of Schumer, who he said last week was “not Jewish any more”, over the senator’s response to anti-Israel college protests.

    >According to Karni and Broadwater, of the New York Times, Schumer delivered his judgment over a glass of wine one night in June 2023. With hindsight, the authors add: “If Schumer had seen any of it coming, he had not wanted to face it.”

    !ping DEMS

  2. After the first Trump term, after the first impeachment, after the second impeachment, after Trump’s dominance in the 2024 GOP primary…Schumer still held on to the belief most of us clung onto back in 2016.

This guy is 8 years behind the majority of the country. We all know Trump is going no where. We’ve known it for a while.

  3. Is he stupid? Trumps had complete control over the gop for almost a decade now. It’s not going to happen

All the proof you need that Schumer needs to go. Dude is completely out of touch if he thinks the GOP would ever reject Trump.

  5. Senate dems seem intent on keeping him for god knows why. House dems are the most vocal about getting him gone maybe if we take back the house that give house dems leverage in asking for a better minority leader

That’s not totally out there. Some people in the Republican party thought he would just move on.

Who among Democrat voters are supporting Schumer through this? Progressives hate him, green party hates him, we moderates seem to hate him. Who is left? Is there another center left community somewhere that I don’t know about?

  8. That is a disqualifying sentiment if I’ve ever seen one. You had a good run, Chuck.

In the nyt interview last weekend he also maintained that once Trump’s approval drops to 40% the Republicans will start magically working with Dems to contain Trump. He also said that Republicans have spoken to him that they are scared of opposing Trump because he (Trump) is so popular with the base.

The guy does not realize the true nature of the Republican party and that their danger goes even beyond Trump.

He needs to be voted out as leader.

Pure fucking delusion at this point. If that is truly what he believes then he is clearly not seeing reality.
