okay, good start Mallory, but we’re not quite at “blueprint for hope” are we?

    >McMorrow ripped an unfounded Republican attempt to brand her a pedophile

    The classic Republican go to

  4. >Republicans are incredibly adept at setting the traps for Democrats, and Democrats too often don’t notice, and they fall for the trap…The millions upon millions of dollars that Donald Trump and Elon spent on anti-trans ads was a trap.

    >We have to think about what winning looks like. Winning is a numbers game, and it is about getting more people on your side in support of your issue. And to do that, **you have to speak in the language of the people that you need to convert to your side.**

This should be painfully obvious. And yet most Democrats are so tone deaf that they utterly fail to understand this.

The desire of many liberals and progressives to feel morally and intellectually superior leads to this result. They react to Republicans by wanting to school them, which then allows the Republicans to dictate the agenda instead of placing Republicans on the defensive.

If the GOP wants to fixate on transgender issues, that’s a strong hint that it is time to change the subject and counterattack with a different topic that exploits the failures of the opponent. Don’t bring a lectern to a gunfight.
