    Many of the protests mentioned failed because they had no practical solutions to the problems being protested. The crypto movement was and still is highly successful because it pressured the financial system to become more fair and transparent.

    I think the two exceptions are Euromaidan in Ukraine and the Sunflower Movement in Taiwan.

    My fear is that technology strengthens regimes but I’m too lazy to read the article.
