Yet another sacred cow sacrificed at Trump’s alter.
I’d say this flagrant disregard for their voters is further evidence that the GOP no longer intends to have free and fair elections, but I think it’s just as likely that Trump has no reason to believe anything he does will have negative electoral consequences, which… yeah, fair.
And as usual, 1) the cruelty is the point, and 2) the GOP has been lying this entire time with their “We’re fine with immigration, we just want it to be *legal* immigration!” shtick.
My heart goes out to these people. They got a chance to have a better life, and now it’s being ripped away from them. It must be devastating.
