The infamous great Irish famine saw the population of Ireland take 30 years to decrease by 20-25%, having started with fewer people than Cuba did. Cuba has just had the same population drop over the 4 years.
It’s hard to imagine the scale of devastation their economy faces with this many people leaving, especially considering those who leave are most likely in the prime of their life.
