I have zero confidence that Trump will come to Taiwan’s defense if attacked. I’m sure the folks in Taipei have similar concerns.
Nuclear proliferation needs to happen yesterday.

I don’t believe Trump can afford to back down and be seen as letting China annex it’s neighbors, meanwhile Xi has been staking more and more of his legitimacy on reconquering Taiwan so he can’t afford to back down. I genuinely think before 2030, at most by 2035 at the latest, we’re going to be at war with China.
