This was so obvious when the preorders weren’t open as soon as they announced them. Nintendo deliberately timed the direct and price reveal to coincide with “Liberation Day” so they could say “See, we were gonna sell it for $450 and Trump and his tariffs are the reason we have to raise it to $800.”
