Another campaign promise. This shit really shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Not surprising. They’ve said they wanted to do this for ages. If the Mexicans say know though that’s going to be a fucking nightmare.

I might hate Sheinbaum but she was elected legitimately. Mexican government should not have their own country bombed against their will.

  3. so according to the article the plans are to do this with Mexico’s permission but unilateral strikes ‘are not ruled out’

With the Trump policy on avoiding civilian casualties this can only go right. Plus, I’m sure the cartels won’t do some fucked up shit like kidnap and torture a bunch of American tourists on vacation

  4. “He’s just joking”

    “It’s just a 4D chess rethorical move”

“Trump says a lot of dumb shit”

“He’ll forget about it in a week”

  5. So, assuming that it happens…what’s the strategy here? I imagine a lot of this stuff may be mixed with civilian areas and you can’t just bomb them and celebrate victory. The profit incentive would still be there (because United States is just not that good with rehab as it could) when they stop and the Mexican government is not good enough to keep them in check.

Trump literally campaigned on doing this, it’s what people voted for.

  7. Heavy risk of collateral damage , bombing neighbouring countries is never a good idea even if some of their citizens are bad
