if Erdogan woke up and decided to put 10% tarrifs on the whole world or cancel their economic agreement with EU, the Turkish stock market and foreign exchange market would have to close down for days, so that people don’t sell everything out and close the door when they leave

every small mistake will have you lose foreign investment and have your currency devalue like there’s no tomorrow
