  1. A flat 5% tax is proposed on any outward international money transfer made by non-citizens. Stated motive is to discourage the illegal aliens from sending money back home and to discourage them from coming to the US. Ulterior motive is to generate revenue to fund the tax cuts. In 2022, about $80B was sent from US to other countries.

    Taxing the taxed money feels like double taxation, especially to the legal immigrants. Only US citizens are exempt from this tax.
