Tbh I don’t oppose public housing if that doesn’t come with restrictions on private development. I don’t think it’s the best use of resources and I’m more concerned with government bureaucracy maintaining them, in most cases. But it’s not the hill I’m going to die on. There is a case to be made about the market price never going low enough for the most struggling population.
The problem is they do tend to go with each other.
