Absolutely shameful. Paying the Chinese debt-trapped Mauritians to have land that they only lay claim to because the Empire put them under the same administrative department over a hundred years ago. I look forward to the Chinese fishing fleet destroying the islands marine biodiversity, Farage milking this for all its worth, and potential long term military disasters should the Chinese capitalize on it and establish themselves they way they did with the Mauritians deep water port.
