SS:
In the 1930s, IBM supplied Nazi Germany with punch-card machines and custom software.
These systems were used to classify, track, and manage entire populations.
Their names turned into numbers. Their futures processed through data.
It wasn’t an accident. IBM leased the machines, trained the operators, and updated the code as the war expanded. Death by data. The company claimed it was just business.
Decades later, IBM builds AI systems and cloud infrastructure inside a state that tracks, profiles, and digitally controls another occupied population. Faces scanned. Movements logged. Predictive policing run on enterprise servers.
A company with this history should have known better.
Or maybe it did.
