As more governments aligned against the west come into power in Africa, western mining and extraction companies are going to need to shift their strategy to continue operations. One pathway for this is to offer these governments more lucrative offers to try and pull them away from Chinese and Russian firms which are looking to snap up deals and contracts with these governments when they can. Of course, this would involve the firms taking on greater risk which may be inadvisable and sometimes straightforwardly unprofitable. Ideally we would see more pro-western governments in the region but that seems somewhat unrealistic to hope for.

  2. I mean, offer them a better deal. It shouldn’t be that hard. Sorry they don’t wanna get fucked in the ass with shitty extraction deals.
