India should just peel the band aid off and move closer to the West. China is the hegemony in that part of the world and it is unabashedly Pro-Pakistan. Russia is just not a reliable counterweight and they are being exposed as a paper tiger right now.
I suppose it is just a matter of America ditching Pakistan too since the two have been tight since Kissinger’s barbarism in the Cold War. Though, I sort of understand why America treats Pakistan’s military deep state with kid gloves with nuclear bailouts n what not because if they collapse then one of the many jihadist organizations will have nuclear arsenal.
