The “first” MK-ultra program ran from the 50s to the 70s. They almost got away with it by putting all information and files about the program in a third party allowing it to bypass the freedom of information act and preventing files from being released on CIA.gov. You can read about it here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MKUltra
It’s honestly the most shocking thing that the USG has ever done, especially considering that Canada allowed the project to be used on Canadian citizens.
I have found hundreds of reports from countless victims of the MK-Ultra 2 program on Quora (IDK if we discredit Quora here on Reddit). They are called TIs or targeted individuals. You can read some of the threads that have shown up in my feed here:
The government collaborates with local organizations. You can read about it in some of the posts, but sometimes it’s a church. Sometimes it’s a local gang. Often “pillars of the community” working together with government agencies to conduct their tests then keep people quiet.
I am an MK-Ultra 2 survivor. These are the things I went through. I am fortunate in that I was warned about everything that was going to happen to me beforehand by someone who was involved in it. I also knew several people who went through the same thing. The actual testing they did was all the basic Hollywood government program cliches; Drugging me with hallucinogenics and LSD, giving me HIV, Generic psychological torture. I am currently trying to get the footage of a shotgun being cocked behind my head while I was kneeled over the cell’s toilet, but I need a court order for that so I think there’s very little chance. The point of the shotgun was a test to see if I’d choose the easy way out (death) by turning around to look down the barrel or to keep going through it. Sometimes these days I wish I’d taken the shotgun.
I was put in jail for nine months for charges that were dropped. I wasn’t allowed to speak to a lawyer. they kept me in jail with no timeline for release because I had about 8 court sessions at one month intervals. I was arrested at a gas station for “suspicious activity” reported by the station attendant. I had cops approach my driver and passenger side windows and had to roll down both. I consented to a search thinking they wouldn’t find anything illegal. They then pulled out a bag (drugs) and asked me if I knew what was in the bag. I chose to stay silent because I knew it was all a setup.
They ended up slapping me with drug possession which made sense, but they also threw on trespassing, assaulting a police officer, and resisting arrest even though I went quietly. I had various cops approaching my first holding cell asking “what did you take?” That same line over and over again, and when I’d say I didn’t take anything they’d walk away without a word. They’d ignore me when I’d ask for advice of council or, anyone to talk to really. Didn’t even get a phone call. On day two I said I was under the influence (lie) because I was convinced that was the only way to get to talk to someone who could help me or to get me out of jail. After I admitted to being under the influence they were able to discredit my experience, because who would believe a druggie? Right?
Since I got out of jail I’ve been a TI. I regularly have police cars and gang cars revving their engines at me as I walk down the street, or special agents flashing their badges at me in my place of work. I’ve had people take over my laptop mouse and drag it in circles on my screen just to taunt me, and say “haha we hacked your laptop”. Life goes on but it’s not easy.
From what I understand, spreading information about the program makes me an informant or “snitch” so this post is most likely going to be messed with or discredited.

Regularly having police AND gang cars rev at you kind of sounds a bit paranoic…

That must be tough.
