    grid storage is booming as well

    Australia I think has the highest share of battery storage discharge in the electricity mix right now( excluding US states like California) : 0.7%, which might sound very little, but that’s almost 1/7 of what gas power provided to the grid so far in July

    and its just getting started, by 2030 its likely that batteries will overtake natural gas on the entire national grid
