Collective shout is an Australian organization that is intent on removing nsfw content from video games. They are made up of 10 people, yet they bullied multibillion dollar credit card companies and are forcing them to abide by their whims… but how?
The story is that collective shout encouraged about a thousand people to send in letters to Mastercard and visa to encourage them to stop making money off nsfw games…. And it worked? How? There are tens, if not hundreds of thousands of games who apose this, and a thousand Karens in Australia who are for this. How are the gamers losing? Why would a billion dollar company care what a few ladies in Australia think?
Something is fishy here… anyone have any leads?

Simple, squeaky wheel gets the grease. Bunch of letters protesting something without a counterbalance of a bunch of letters saying “No, we will buy it.” They think, oh, we won’t get more money, and they follow through with what they think will get them more money.
