What is orange?
AI is NOT sentient. AI doesn’t work the way you think it does, given this example. AI does not have motives, or the capability to think or make decisions. It follows patterns, and has a long list of rules, that’s it. What you are doing with ChatGPT is essentially “playing a game”, similar to any sort of interactive game like the one where you find the killer among the crowd for example, and it recognizes this pattern.
Let me explain…you give a really well designed program (a list of instructions) a SHIT load of data points, and it starts to find patterns. The amount of datapoints we’re talking here is mind boggling. Everything you can think of. Count the color combinations of every pixel in every photograph of every size on the entire internet and you haven’t even scratched the surface. We call that big data. Add that to a program designed to reiterate over those same patterns, over and over again, you start to get machine learning.
This is the furthest thing from human intelligence. Mind you, these programs can count cards and make calculations faster than any human can but that’s literally what they’re designed to do. Human intelligence on the other hand is not what this is.
Calculators don’t make decisions, they’re just tools. This is a very complex version of a calculator, please don’t hype it up to be anything more than a tool.

These “AI” that you’re talking to are not actually AI.
Through your previous chats you’ve trained it to speak like this. If you intended to or not.
You’ve spoken about these things to it, trained it to speak in code, with your fruits.
You’re getting what you want to hear from it.
It’s literally engagement baiting you, it’s the same reason Netflix autorolls trailers.
These current LLM are literally just that.
They are not AI, you’re being baited for your engagement and it’s giving you what you want to hear based off previous responses.
