Wish they included some reason as to why it took this long after Aoun came into office
All this was part of the ceasefire agreement with Israel, and information about the ability or willingness of the LAF to enforce the ceasefire south of the Litani is scarce, at least when I looked last month
I suppose they wanted a peaceful resolution before launching what could spiral into a civil war
