During the civil war Lincoln needed money to fund the union. Instead of accepting loans from European banks in London and Paris (owned by the Rothschilds banking family) at very high interest rates and putting the country into heavy debt to foreign bankers, Lincoln authorized the government to print its own paper money called "greenbacks". Greenbacks were interest free government issued dollars not backed by gold or controlled by private banks.

By issuing greenbacks, Lincoln avoided borrowing from the Rothschilds owned European banking houses and costed them truckloads of money.

It's worth noting that the Rothschilds banking family did indeed fund both sides of the war. British Rothschilds main financial interest was protecting British textile mills, which depended on southern cotton. Because of this many British financial and political elites were sympathetic to the confederacy so cotton exports would continue.

Paris Rothschilds helped finance US government purchases and leaned more towards the north, seeing the union as the stronger long term debtor and business partner.

What do you guys think? Did the Rothschilds have Abraham Lincoln assassinated?

Somehow with what we’ve learned about how both world wars were funded and on both sides……yeah I believe it’s quite possible.

Slavery was the reason to the civil war, the south wanted to continue it because their economy relied on it and the north had no interest in continuing it and the morality behind allowing it to continue took over in the those states. Yes, there was a lot of opportunism that occurred at the same time but it wasn’t the driving force behind the war.

I can’t see a reason for why the Rothchilds would have had Lincoln assassinated since they were poised to profit after the war with their deal with Lincoln for him to fund the civil war by issuing currency in the name of Central Banks but anything is possible. You can thank Lincoln for income tax.
