He was a member of the House of Farnese. His relatives all of have prominent positions of power in the United States. Justin being his son makes more sense if it's to pass on "royal blood".

Not sure what surprises people about the same families continuing their ‘reins of power’. 🤔
Kings and queens might not be a thing in a lot of countries anymore but the family lines continue on.
