This is the story of the Cover up at Hueyatlaco. Possibly the biggest archeological cover up in the history of the world. Have humans ALWAYS been in the Americas? If the archeology and geology that was done at Hueyatlaco is correct, then history would change forever. The dates of some of the artifacts were ranging between 250,000 and 800,000 years old!

I think this is far from the only case of covering up new game-changing artifacts. What is not beneficial to one or another government of one or another country will necessarily be hidden from society for fear of losing control over society. Its normal reaction by people in power.
I suppose if all the artifacts hidden from society are ever discovered, then people will be very stunned by what will be revealed. Very very stunned I would say.
