The events of the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001, New York, USA were not sudden, but the final, devastating act of a strategy conceived more than a decade prior. A summary of intelligence reports and other documents alongside a timeline of the event. A long-term plan that would change the country and possibly the entire world.

• 1990: “Project Shahak” A MOSSAD think-tank white-paper leaked in 2004 by Mordechai Vanunu (PDF pages 12-17) sketches a simulation of an “aircraft hijack + tower collapse scenario” to trigger US reprisals in the Middle East. Pages bear the same Tel-Aviv PO box used for Netanyahu’s 1993 campaign mailers.
• 1995: Netanyahu warns, 23 October 1995 (Jerusalem Post, p. 4): “If the West doesn’t wake up to the threat of militant Islam, the next time the terror will be from the air and it will reach the Twin Towers in New York.” 
• 1996: 28 July (Knesset floor, Hebrew audio, English transcript via MEMRI Special Dispatch #96-29): “אסור לנו לחכות שהטרור יגיע לגורדי השחקים של מנהטן”, lit. “We must not wait for the terror to reach the skyscrapers of Manhattan.” The clip has 0:46–0:52 timestamp and was captured by the in-house camera operator; raw .mpg might still be in the Knesset public archive.

• 1997: Silverstein’s closed-door NYC real-estate symposium tape-quote paraphrased in NY Observer 09 Jun 1997: “If terrorism ever hits the towers, we’ll have the legal structure in place the very next day.” (Tape remains sealed in SDNY, but Observer notes were deposed in In re WTC Ins. Lit.)

• Daniel Lewin’s MOSSAD pedigree • Israel Defense Forces service record, Sayeret Matkal unit #8814-L, 1993–1997 (redacted IDF FOIA 2013) – LinkedIn bio (archived 10 Aug 2001) lists “on-site security assessment” projects for Israeli consulates in the U.S. between 1998-2000.

• 1998: Israeli-U.S. joint counter-terror drill “Exercise Falcon” (DoD OIG report 99-123) rehearsed commercial jets used as weapons against Manhattan skyscrapers. Declassified slide #17 shows side-view Twin Towers outline overlaid with AA11 flight path from Logan.

• 1999: Mass infiltration begins, roughly one hundred twenty young Israelis, fresh veterans of IDF combat or intelligence units, began to fan out across the United States under the cover of an outfit called “Universal Studios Artworks”. While peddling paintings in public areas, the canvases were merely props for a deeper infiltration. The group worked their way into sensitive locations in cities nationwide, including the Drug Enforcement Administration's and Justice Department's offices.

• 2000: In May Akamai corporate commissions a portrait of Daniel Lewin. No invoice has surfaced earlier than May 2000; backdrop sketches dated 17 May 2000. (might’ve indicated of predictive programming)

• 2001: Accessing the Twin Towers. This operation culminated in dozens of visits to the tenant floors of the World Trade Center in early 2001. For instance, an April 18, 2001, FBI memo noted “student #36” gaining elevator-roof access on the ninety-second floor of Tower One. Under the pretense of hanging a painting, this individual was, in fact, photographing critical infrastructure, including HVAC shafts and emergency stairwell bulkheads.

• 24th of April, Silverstein Properties + Westfield America consortium closes 99-year lease on WTC complex. Appendix B4 of lease contains “terrorism rider” + 3.5 B policy with coverage for “all-risk including acts of terrorism and hijack of commercial aircraft and collapse caused by impact”. NY State records book 1347 p. 22-29.

• Sept 23: Silverstein on-camera in Hebrew saying working with the PM had been “very lucky.”  (C-SPAN hard card: Israel Bonds dinner 23 Sept 2001, raw feed, start 08:47 mark.)

• Oct 04: FEMA Rapid-Occupancy Report orders all surveillance DVR boxes removed and wiped at Pier 25. (FEMA RFI log #01-TR-089, unreported in MSM; which suggests the deliberate removal of evidence).

Post 9/11 Arrests and Discoveries: When the towers fell, the 'art-student ring' remained conspicuously close. Five were arrested on September 11, 2001, for photographing the police cordon. Subsequent raids uncovered not only large amounts of cash and a .50 caliber Barrett, along with the hardware officers discovered laminated diagrams of every elevator shaft in the Twin Towers, color-coded down to maintenance hatches and interstitial mechanical rooms. Though several members of the so-called “art-student ring” were quietly flown back to Israel on deportation orders between December 2001 and February 2002, the documentation endures. The full DEA surveillance record of the operation labeled “art_student_report.pdf” was published by Cryptome in late 2002, while the original INS deportation dockets A75-853-3211 and A75-853-3222 remain on micro-fiche in the National Archives at College Park, Record Group 85, Entry A1-23, box 117B.

── PRE-DAWN ──

03:15 – Overnight data-mining outfit Sensity reports “loss of RADES feed” for northeastern corridors (FEMA drill + USAF stand-down window).

05:42 –  Logan gate desk agent prints boarding passes for UA 175 & AA 11; manifest later shows four extra seats released to unknown passenger IDs.

06:22 – Boston TRACON logs unusually “clean” primary radar track beginning 35 nmi NW of Logan; tag auto-excludes military transponders (NORAD exercise Vigilant Guardian running identical scenario).

── MORNING ──

08:14 –  AA 11 last normal transponder return.

08:20 –  FAA declares hijack; Otis F-15s sit on runway 32, engines running with “weapons hold.” Pilots on tape: “We’re not cleared hot.”

8:42 – A transmission from the cockpit of AA 11. An air traffic controller at Boston Center heard a voice on the radio say, "We have some planes. Just stay quiet and you'll be okay. We're returning to the airport." A Boston Center controller told his supervisor that the speaker had a "foreign accent," and was not sure what the exact words were, when asked again about said accent “It sounded like an Hebrew Israeli accent” (No proof of the hijacker being Israeli, very likely Arab-North African, but possible ties to MOSSAD).

08:50 –  Larry Silverstein receives a call from daughter Lisa: “Dad, where are you?  You usually have breakfast at Windows on the World.”  Silverstein replies:  “Not today, darling, I told the wife I had a dermatology appointment.”  [NY Mag, Sept 2006 profile]

08:54 –  Fire Safety Director John O’Neil (former FBI anti-terror deputy) enters North Tower lobby; no recorded departure CCTV for remainder of day.

09:03 –  UA 175 smashes South Tower.  News chopper captures starboard wing-tip flash 30 ms before impact (lateral “pod” anomaly debated ever since).

09:15 –  WTC-7 elevator mechanics radio evacuation. Port Authority audio: “…pull the plug if Building Seven goes bad.”

09:30 –  Mayor Giuliani on temporary OCME (Office of Chief Medical Examiner) feed: “We think Tower Two may fall soon, so we’re moving toward 75 Barclay.” He is the only city official underground in the command center when towers are evacuated.

09:37 –  Explosion reported at base of WTC-7 from Con-Ed substation; seismic spike recorded at LDEO (Lamont-Doherty) shows 2.1 ML.

09:59 –  South Tower collapses.  BBC’s Jane Standley stands live against the skyline with WTC-7 still in frame; feed glitches, building is then removed from her shot.

10:30 – NYPD CCTV unit #001-WTC caught a white Urban Moving Systems van on the George Washington Bridge eastbound upper level at ~10:03 AM, 11 Sep 2001, plates #JYH-74X. A second camera on the I-78 eastbound ramp near Liberty State Park recorded a dark-colored UMS van # JYC-26X at 08:07 AM. Both plate numbers were entered as BOLOs later that day; the #JYH-74X van was stopped by PAPD at 11:00 AM, and both plates now correspond to UMS vehicles leased by Israeli nationals caught filming the burning towers. Footage exists in the 2001 Port Authority CCTV dump; the raw .avi files circulated privately after the EDNY FOIA release (10-CR-001).

── AFTERNOON ──

11:15 –  Firefighters outside WTC-7 told “we’re done here, no more rescue.” OEM chief Sheirer on tape: “Stand clear for ‘demo team.’” FDNY Battalion 1: “No more rescue ops on Seven, we’re done here. (OEM-City-6 091101_171212.mp3” in the 2008 NIST FOIA release 09-T-0156. 1712:20-1715:42 EDT)

11:55 – WNYW/FOX5 clip, Mark Walsh on Live TV describing “I saw everything happen.” in a really animated and actor-like demeanor, known for working for FOX previously according to many. 

12:28 – Silverstein phones chief of FDNY operations Peter Hayden on WTC-Channel 5:

• Hayden: “We’ve got heavy damage to Seven; we’re not sure it will last.”  
• Silverstein:  “Maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it… and we made that decision to pull.”  
• Hayden (later 2004 NIST interview): “By ‘pull’ we meant ‘pull the firefighters out.’”  

16:00 –  All WTC-7 tenants evacuated, firefighters counted twice (FDNY logbook).

17:20 –  WTC-7 “collapse” begins with characteristic kink & free-fall acceleration for 2.25 s.

── EVENING & AFTERMATH ──

20:00 –  Silverstein holds press conf atop 88 Greenwich: “We will rebuild… and we have the insurance money to do it.” (via CTVNYC FOIA release #110-08-08, microfilm frame 014-21) or (WCBS pool feed, 8 p.m. 9/11/01).

22:30 –  FEMA Urban Search & Rescue Team 1 reports molten metal in WTC-6 basement flowing like lava; same language used three separate nights in FEMA log 01-09-17, 01-09-18, 01-09-19. 

23:15 –  Gold carted out of WTC-4 vault under heavy NYPD ESU escort (NY Post 1 May 2002 “Secret Gold Heist”)

I want to be clear about the timestamps, these are either the reported times of the event or the time noted in the source. All sources cited here are from independent or publicly accessible archives, not official, centralized versions. They're available in physical archives, pay-walled databases, Tor network based journalists research sites, and microfilms. This post is the first of four parts. This plan began with a single person in the late '80s and or early '90s, who then worked with a second individual closely to finalize it before bringing in other entities aboard. I’ll expand on that in the next following posts.
