My first thought was… If the affordable developments can’t pay their loans with lower rents, but it seems like the private developments can… well clearly the building of affordable units is pretty inefficient. Shocker, I know.

I guess the way you trick the Seattle Times into publishing a remotely YIMBY article is to have it be a criticism of the inefficiency of public housing projects so that the editors think it is NIMBY.
