I keep hearing all of these huge numbers when someone like Elon Musk and recently Larry Ellison are brought up. I went to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World%27s_Billionaires and looked at the list.
What has happened that these people now have HUNDREDS of billions of dollars? I remember not too
many years ago someone had 30 billion and was the richest. Is this actually inflation? The biggest jumps were in 2020 and 2021 and I thought the economy slowed down but a bunch on money was printed.
