If we are in a recession but for AI, I think we will soon just be in a recession.
It’s not that AI does absolutely nothing, it will carve out some productivity boosts over time. However the money flowing in is only going to be justified by a massive revolutionary success.
It’s really hard to see that based on what LLMs are and, more importantly, are not.
