The problem is political. There are 3 blocs of roughly equal size, none of whom are prepared to work with the others to pass a budget. The left won’t pass the centrists austerity budget. The right won’t pass the centrists austerity budget. The left won’t work with the right.
In fresh elections, the only possible outcome that involves a passed budget would probably be a majority for the National Rally (or close to a majority – with Republican support). The left and the centre don’t have enough votes unless they unite again, and they probably won’t.
