You know we are living in a very strange era of history when I am voting for the same candidates as Brett Stephens and Dick Cheney nowadays.
The Republican Party’s descent from the party of respecting institutions and neoconservatism to the American Version of Assad is frightening to say the least. I wish some of these never-Trump republicans practiced some introspection sometimes. Frum seems to still harbor some jingostic tendencies and to my knowledge, he has never walked back on supporting the Iraq War. Brett Stephens was complaining that Kamala Harris would abandon Israel, I remember him also constantly dragging on Obama for the Nuclear Deal.
