I get that Charlie was personally close to Trump, but it’s odd to me that the president of the United States is giving the media updates that would typically come from local law-enforcement or whoever is in charge of the investigation

It’s funny, with this happening he also says they’re going to investigate George soros for paying people doing crimes and everyone here knows soros funded people have been doing this for decades. Which will cause people to be like “fuck Trump” but then those are the same people who say “investigate soros”
What do we think the narrative will be? The shooter was still living at home with his parents, had access to father’s rifle. Shooter was a troubled child, bullied in school, radicalized by the left. Pastor and good family friend had tried to intervene before but was shut out as suspects beliefs were more and more extreme. Heroic father made the ultimate sacrifice by turning his son in, God told him it was the right thing to do.
First thing that happens is the mug comes out. Proof of life.

I honestly could not imagine being in the position of know that you child is a murder. You love them unconditionally, but they’ve done something truly terrible. He probably figured his choice was to turn him in or watch his son get got during an arrest.
Even getting the death penalty he’ll be around for a long time.

That’s a difficult choice. On the one hand, you are sending your kid to death. On the other hand, you look at how Brian Laundrie’s parents did the opposite, and he ended up killing himself in a swamp. I assume the alternative was going to be much worse.
At least he can’t hurt anymore people now. Such an insanely emotional timeline of events. I think if anything, it highlights how the FBI is incompetent and the only reason why we are having this conversation, is because a Good Samaritan called in a tip and handed the FBI this arrest
