This article questions Trump’s commitment to NATO by demanding that the US take unilateral military action without European cooperation or consent.
We absolutely should assist with the defense of our allies, but if we have to insist on defending our allies while they do not want to defend themselves, they are nothing but our colonial possessions we are fighting the Russians over.
Poland invoked article 4, and NATO has had a very serious zoom call to discuss additional ineffective measures they probably want even do. Maybe they can film a podcast or something on the next call. Once Poland invoked article 5 and there is an actual desire within our NATO allies for us to intervene, we hopefully will.
