That picture is of Marc Andreesen, he comes from a working class family in Wisconsin.
His cofounder is Ben Horowitz, whose father was a conservative activist.
Their firm “Andreesen Horowitz” called A16Z usually, is one of the biggest venture capital firms in the world, they also own large equity in OpenAI, Roblox, Figma, AirBNB, Coinbase, Stripe, Twitter, Reddit, Facebook etc.
I think this is rather typical for the firm and not particularly newsworthy. They own parts of Reddit, but I would argue that the censorship issues on Reddit have more to do with mods than any sort of shareholder interference.
