I think this shows that’s not necessarily true. It’s not just that Republicans are being punished, Democrats are being rewarded for standing up to them. It’s true for democracies around the world, that standing up makes a difference.

Respectfully let me know when anyone is actually going to change their vote over anything bad the Republicans do. The soy farmers, the people who genuinely thought he was somehow the one who was going to release the Epstein files, the suckers who thought he was going to bring prices down, “fiscal conservatives” concerned about the deficit.
Something tells me at the midterms we’ll get maybe a 2 point shift from the 2024 results, just enough to say maybe they’ll have a chance next time.
