Who exactly are we losing this race to, besides ourselves? The only people I can imagine who would have the technical knowhow and the money to blow on something like this would be the Chinese, and they haven’t even gotten close.

Isn’t the US still a bit ahead with their moon missions? It isn’t really a race for anyone except nationalists on both sides though.

Tbh once Trump, Elon and his friends control the media, they can just brainwash the American public to believe any Chinese moon landing fake and their eventual landing is real etc. etc. So there is no need to worry if China actually does go to the moon
