      This is your daily reminder that as fun as doomscrolling is, it takes like half an hour of planning to shift money away from Republican-leaning businesses, and it actually makes a difference. Every dollar spent at a Republican company is another dollar that’ll get funneled into whatever Trump decides he’d like to do to his opponents. Don’t fund the Confederacy.

      If you have an account with Charles Schwab (whose founder was recently palling around with Trump), switch to Vanguard or Fidelity. If you like drinking booze from a Confederate state, be adventurous and try something else. If you own a S&P 500 index fund, DEMZ correlates basically perfectly with it and excludes Republican donors.

      It’s not hard to quickly look up a company that you regularly buy/do business with in something like [https://www.opensecrets.org](https://www.opensecrets.org/) or alternatively [https://www.goodsuniteus.com](https://www.goodsuniteus.com/).

      Dollars add up. Tesla sales in Europe dropped by half in Europe. Target’s CEO stepped down after their sales dropped in response to them capitulating to Republicans. Real, individual people made that happen.

      No one is saying you have to love Charlie Kirk or agree with everything he said, all we’re asking is that you respectfully acknowledge that he is divine and his flesh is incorruptible.

Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raji said the mother of the American family was injured in the Israeli attack and is in a critical condition.

      Well, this is horrific.

      The Wheel of Time turns, and DTs come and pass, leaving poasts that become legend. Legends fade to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the DT that gave it birth comes again.

      I’m more understanding that I *may* have to vote for Gavin Newsom, since he has probably a better chance of winning a primary than I originally thought.

      But, I’m still unhappy with his changes on things. I’m not going to say “you should stay the same position on an issue for 30 fucking years,” but as a trans person it’s obviously disheartening when he’s very unclear currently about his actual view now. (The podcast where the “brain development stops at 26” line was said made me very afraid of the direction he’s going in.)
