  1. *He told Sky News Arabia in an interview Sunday, that Israel will not withdraw from the five occupied points and that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu doesn’t care about borders or red lines if he feels Israel is threatened.*

*Barrack claimed that Hezbollah has been lately receiving USD 60 million monthly from unidentified sources and that the group is trying to rebuild itself. He said the U.S. won’t act militarily against Hezbollah and that the Lebanese government must act.*

I am curious if the power gap between Hezbollah and Aoun’s army is greater than the PA’s and Hamas at this point.

No shit, Lebanon obviously isn’t capable of disarming Hezbollah. Israel failed to push them north of the Litani in ’06 and in the last war they didn’t even try [to push in further than a few border villages](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/91/Israel-Lebanon-Syria-border-Conflict-2023.svg/4096px-Israel-Lebanon-Syria-border-Conflict-2023.svg.png). It’s absurd to think the Lebanese army or some peacekeepers from Ghana will do what the IDF was incapable of.

The 2006 ceasefire also included Hezbollah withdrawing to north of the Litani. It’s not happening this time either, Bibi just wanted a cheap propaganda win. It’s the same deal Trump did with the Taliban.
