Why is this Euro-centric? Prices for some food in the US has doubled in the same time frame. The issue is everywhere in the developed world.

yeah but as a tourist it feels cool when you’re walking the camino and you buy a cartoon of milk and read its location and realize “hey i gonna be walking be there in 1 week!”
