a little scared writing this cuz i feel i could genuinely be risking my life. also to preface, I’m considered liberal and have voted Democrat my whole life and am in no way suicidal.

The powers at the be want to take our guns because without them we are much easier to physically control. This isn’t a “left vs right” issue, they are two hands of the same entity (hence the picture), it’s truly an Us vs Them issue.

They needed to win the Left/Democrats over first because that’d be much easier, so they shot up a bunch of schools and liberal places, we don’t have to get into specifics of the conspiracies but you know the names. Sandy Hook, Miami Nightclub, etc. This solidly secured the Left’s support for gun control.

Now they need the Right’s support, so they’ve been targeting more conservative venues in hopes of getting the Right to support it as well. I’ve been saying this to my friends and family for years but it just keeps getting more apparent. Las Vegas Country Music Festival shooting, Annunciation Catholic School in Minnesota, Charlie Kirk. Mark my words, there will continue to be shootings in places that Right/Conservatives congregate in order to push them towards support for gun control. Either that or they’re just trying to push us to Civil War 2, but that would be more of a foreign state issue which I do not think it is!

A lot of things have become taboo to talk about in each side of the political divide, on the left one of the big ones is not supporting gun control and I think they perfectly planned it that way.

I know this may seem obvious to some of you but I wanted those who maybe hadn’t considered this before to think about this because I love my country and want us all to pull through this shit.

I don’t think you’ve been paying attention, considering the left has a lot of gun nuts as well…. not to mention the amount of queer people arming themselves for protection.

    2. Theyre trying to deputize those who are ideologically aligned with the administration, not take away their guns.

    3. Do you seriously think that the average citizen owning a couple of guns makes them equipped to take on a tyrannical government with tanks, helicopters, precision missiles, and other modern military equipment? The framers had no idea the extent of technological innovation that would occur in the future. Taking up arms to defend against the government no longer means anything. It’s an illusion. We’d stand no chance.

    4. “In the Leningrad Thermotechnical Institute, arrest quotas were being filled. People were taken according to lists. It was the easiest thing to make out such a list of twenty men. From the benches in the institute corridors they took whoever sat closer. In general, the NKVD behaved like men who are sure of themselves. If we didn’t wish to get up from our stools, they took us together with the stools. If we couldn’t walk fast enough, they hurried us along with kicks. The soldiers with rifles crowded us ahead like sheep. And we — we went. No one resisted. No one tried to escape. The extraordinary machine was working smoothly, without a hitch.”

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive? If during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the whole city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If, if… We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

“But it was all incomprehensible to us: we purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward. In this, too, we were to blame: we submitted, we tacitly agreed, we did not resist. We are not talking about the small number of rebels who were armed with revolvers or sawed-off shotguns and who perished at once. But how many great, massive organizations there were in our country, from trade unions to professional societies, and not one of them raised a hand in defense. We didn’t love freedom enough. We didn’t even know what it was. We thought only about how to keep our miserable jobs, our pitiful families, our trivial comforts. All those who tried to warn us perished, and we were too cowardly even to admit it to ourselves. We lost freedom by our own hands.”

    5. There are whole countries where guns are tightly controlled. Do you think the people in these countries live in constant fear?

    6. 2023: 46,728 total firearm deaths

      Suicides: Approximately 27,300 (58%)
      Homicides: Approximately 17,927 (38%)
      Unintentional/Accidental: Around 463 (1%)
      Law Enforcement/Undetermined: About 604 (1%)

Suicides account for more than half of gun violence… This sounds like a mental health issue…

Homicides account for the second largest… The majority of which is gang related violence….

By addressing mental health issues and gang violence issues we could eliminate the majority of gun violence….

In 2023, there were over 40,901 car accident fatalities in the United States, with millions of non-fatal injuries and property damage accidents occurring annually. On a global scale, ~1.19 million people are killed in road crashes each year, making it the leading cause of death for young people aged 5-29.

That said more people die in car accidents than by gun violence… This is especially true if we take out suicides and gang violence and only compare accidents than were looking at 463 per year for guns and 40,901 per year for car accidents… we would save far more lives by banning cars than we would banning guns….

So what happens when we take guns away? It gets replaced by something else… Which is why we need to address the root of the issue…

UK knife crime is a significant issue, with over 53,000 police-recorded offences involving a knife or sharp instrument in the year ending March 2025, a 1% decrease from the previous year but an 81% increase over the last decade. The majority of these crimes occur in metropolitan areas like London, and the most common weapon used is a kitchen knife. Young people, particularly males, are a vulnerable demographic as both perpetrators and victims.

    7. Gun control seeks to remove guns from law abiding citizens. It never takes them away from the homicidal criminal until after the crime has occurred.

It’s not hard to see the grooming gangs roaming Australia and The UK committing all kinds of atrocities as Brits get locked up for free speech (offensive speech) because they removed all the guns. You take away the guns, you take away the ability to protect yourself against a tyrannical government.

After all these atrocities, not 1 riot, no revenge killing, no burned and looted businesses… The average everyday law abiding gun owner is not the problem and never will be.

Why would they take guns away from a peaceful people?

I absolutely hate guns and wish they didn’t exist at all, and wish that hunters could just use bows and arrows instead, but even I am in favor of keeping them in the hands of citizens.

It’s a scarier thought to me that the government would take them all away, than the thought of some citizens using their guns in a bad way.
