If you’re Abiy Ahmed you can’t really be surprised this is the outcome of ‘recognizing’ Somaliland. You know Egypt is already furious (understandably) about the dam so giving Somalia yet another reason to go running into their arms seems like a predictable outcome.
Though I do question Somalia’s ability to do anything as apart of an alliance. They don’t really have a functioning government from my understanding
