If traditional media goes too far to the center for them, leftist writers who spent the earlier 2020s chasing people like Bari Weiss out of their jobs can themselves just move to Substack or some competitor. She is the perfect example of how media overcentralization is not a big deal, she was blackballed but she won.

Bari Weiss has made an entire career out of saying, “I’m liberal, *but*…” despite actually being pretty far right-of-center. She uses her sexuality (as a lesbian) in place of actual liberal bonafides/beliefs, and it’s frustrating how so many people take that at face value rather than actually pushing back on her conservative beliefs.
