My guess is that RN doesn’t want a majority right now. Don’t get me wrong they want early elections and they want to do great in them but they don’t want to have a Parliamentary majority when they don’t have the Presidency just yet. Because that means they will then be responsible for governing without having sole power. Now if it was early Parliamentary AND early Presidential elections (currently scheduled for 2027) then I think they’ll want total power.
